True Values: The Foundation of Credible Brands

Values as orientation
Periods of change challenge organisations to adapt without losing their identity. Values play an important role in this process because they provide orientation for decisions and behaviour.
For us, values are more than statements in a brand book. They should fit the roots, ambitions and capabilities of an organisation. Only then can they become a credible guide for everyday action.
What makes values true?
True Values are values that can actually be experienced in the organisation. They are visible in the way decisions are made, in how people work together and in how customers experience the company.
They also contribute to differentiation. A value becomes meaningful when it is characteristic enough that the organisation can credibly claim and live it in its own way.
That is why we do not begin by inventing attractive value words. We look for what is already present, what shapes the organisation and what can serve as a reliable guiding thread between identity and action.
True Values create clarity because they connect what a company believes with how it behaves.
